Bio and CV

Wendy has been empowering students for more than 30 years, teaching methods that help them earn their best scores on the ACT. Her ACT preparation programs include vital test-taking skills as well as important academic reading, note-taking, time management, and stress reduction skills that are of real value in college and careers. Wendy teaches ACT Preparation classes through Davenport University, for Wade H. McCree Jr. Incentive Scholarship Program Students at Grand Valley State University, and for Grand Rapids residents with a library card at the Grand Rapids Public Library. She began her academic career as a Middle School Language Arts teacher and has since worked as an educator in several capacities. Most recently, she was Academic Coordinator for the Grand Rapids Public School's Loop After School Program. Wendy holds a BA from University of Michigan and an MA from Grand Valley State University.
